1)Russell was so opposed to the idea because he tough that Richie was changing. He also helped him when he was going to be hit by Burke and Blanchette. So he though that he hitted him but he also helped and was nice to him.(pg 96 and 97.)
2)Well the relationship becoming little bit nice. I do not think so that they have the relation like the bullier and the victim because bullier do not helps the victim.(pg96and97)
